New 100% mortgages return, but higher interest rates apply

First-time buyers can now get mortgages with little or no deposit, as high street lenders relax their rules. Metro Bank is the latest to offer a 100% mortgage, following similar deals from Lloyds, Santander, Skipton and Yorkshire Building Society. These low-deposit options usually come with higher interest rates than standard deals, meaning you'll pay more.
