Neuer to retire from Bayern in 2027, eyeing advisory return later

Manuel Neuer plans to take a break after his 2027 contract ends, but might return to Bayern in an advisory role. Bayern's CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and Neuer, who have a close relationship, speak regularly about the future. The club still rates Neuer highly and wants his understudy, Jonas Urbig, to play more important games next season.
