Netanyahu Orders Gaza Control Rise to 70%

More Palestinians could be pushed into a narrower coastal area as Israeli forces prepare to widen their hold on Gaza. Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday he had told the military to take 70% of the territory, after Israel’s control reached an estimated 64%. An October truce backed by the United States had set a “Yellow Line” giving Israel control of about 53% of Gaza.
