Netanyahu calls EU hypocritical for silence on Turkey's Cyprus occupation
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the EU of hypocrisy, saying it ignores Turkey's occupation of half of Cyprus. He believes the bloc is "outraged" when Jewish people build in their historic homeland, while a Nato member occupies an EU country. Netanyahu's statement is his second reference to Cyprus in just over a week.
