Nearly a fifth of UK adults avoiding EU holidays due to border delays

New polling shows 43% of UK adults are changing travel plans or feeling anxious about going abroad because of the EU's new Entry-Exit System. The Entry-Exit System, which started in late 2025, requires biometric data and has caused severe queues and delays at European border checkpoints. Around 15% of people are now considering a UK staycation instead of a trip to the EU this summer.
