NASA partners with 37 US firms for 41 Moon and Mars tech projects
NASA has selected 41 commercial technology projects from 37 American companies to assist in creating solutions for forthcoming lunar and Martian expeditions. These partnerships, under the 2025 Collaboration Opportunity, let companies use NASA's facilities and expertise instead of direct funding. One project by Lockheed Martin aims to create a compact power system for the Moon's permanently shadowed areas.
