Most UK heatwave news missed climate link, analysis finds

Nearly three-quarters of UK media stories about June's record heatwave failed to mention the climate crisis, new analysis shows. The Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) examined approximately 2,500 articles across nine national newspapers between 22 and 28 June. Less than one in 20 stories connected the heatwave to government net-zero policies.
