MOD plans £26bn rebuild of UK's three main naval bases

The Ministry of Defence has laid out a £26bn, ten-year plan to modernise Britain's three main naval bases. Project Royal Oak, a major investment, will see new docks, engineering facilities, and accommodation constructed at HMNB Clyde, HMNB Devonport, and HMNB Portsmouth. HMNB Clyde will get the largest share of funding, with £15.1bn committed to Scotland's Faslane base.
