Mitie exits stock market after OCS agrees £3.1bn takeover deal

Outsourcer Mitie is to be taken private, concluding its presence on the stock market for close to forty years, following a £3.1 billion cash takeover agreement with OCS Group. Mitie's board recommended shareholders accept OCS's offer of 221.6p a share, a 44.7% premium on Monday's closing price. The deal, which will create a larger British facilities management company, is expected to finish in early 2027.
