Minister says Diane Abbott is wrong about Russia threat
A minister has said that it was incorrect for Labour MP Diane Abbott to assert that Nato invented the Russian threat. Ukrainian officials have called her comments "unacceptable" after Vladimir Putin mentioned potential strikes on British military sites. Abbott, who represents Hackney North and Stoke Newington in Parliament, has previously voiced disapproval of the UK's military assistance to Ukraine.
