Mines in the DMZ: Seoul Points the Finger at Pyongyang

South Korea has concluded that North Korean troops deliberately planted the mines that wounded three of its soldiers inside the Demilitarized Zone on 21 September, after a joint probe with the US-led UN Command. Seoul demanded an apology, cleared the minefield just south of the border on Monday and vowed to remove more. Pyongyang denies responsibility and has threatened merciless retaliation if it is provoked.
