Millions of shoppers gain new BNPL protections

As of Wednesday, new regulations governing "buy now, pay later" (BNPL) services in the UK came into force, extending additional entitlements and safeguards to millions of consumers. Regulator approval is now a requirement for lenders, which will enable customers to obtain refunds more readily and receive impartial decisions on their grievances.
