In the past year, ADHD medication prescriptions for women in their middle years have seen a 40% increase, reflecting a growing trend of adult diagnoses occurring later in life. It is sometimes the case that this spike in prescriptions occurs after their offspring are diagnosed. The most pronounced increases were observed in the adult population.
