Microsoft Outlook restored after eight-hour global outage on Monday
Workers across multiple countries faced disruption when Outlook and Microsoft 365 went down from around 4 AM ET on Monday. The outage, affecting consumer accounts in multiple regions, lasted over eight hours. Microsoft initially attempted a configuration rollback but ultimately resolved the issue by rebalancing server traffic and optimising infrastructure.
