Meta has cut its Claude Code user base by 50% to around 30,000 staff. Microsoft has lowered its anticipated internal expenditure on Anthropic by more than 33%. Microsoft's cloud and AI group also cut the monthly AI spending limit for individual employees from $100,000 to around $10,000.
