Met Office issues thunderstorm warnings for UK parts with flash flood risk

From Wednesday, northern England, Northern Ireland, and eastern Scotland anticipate heavy rainfall. The Met Office, Britain's national weather service, said the storms could bring flash flooding, travel delays, and power cuts. Up to 50mm of rain could fall in parts of northern England within six hours.
