Met arrests seven over London arson conspiracy

The police operation into attacks on Jewish sites in the capital widened this morning. The Metropolitan Police announced the arrest of seven people on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson, as part of the Counter Terrorism Policing London investigation into the recent wave of incidents. The arrests come after fifteen earlier detentions linked to six attacks in recent weeks. A group called Ashab al-Yamin has claimed several of the incidents online.
