Mental health monitoring tech lacks strong safety evidence

An inquiry heard a monitoring system widely used in mental health wards lacks "strong independent evidence" of enhancing patient safety. University of Oxford experts reviewed 45 studies cited for implementing Oxevision across the NHS, finding some involved employees or were not comprehensive. The Lampard Inquiry is examining over 2,000 mental health patient deaths in Essex over 24 years.
