Meloni disputes Trump's G7 photo claim; Italy cancels US visit

Public disagreement between close Western leaders has grown after conflicting accounts emerged from a meeting in France. During the G7 gathering earlier this week, Giorgia Meloni said Donald Trump had invented a claim that she asked him for a photograph and said she was surprised by his remarks. Italy's foreign minister Antonio Tajani later said he would no longer make a planned trip to the United States next week.
