Oleshky, a Russian-occupied Ukrainian town, saw hundreds of residents evacuate during a six-day ceasefire that Moscow and Kyiv both credited Trump with brokering. At the White House on Thursday, Ukraine's rights ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets gave her a top state honour, and Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev passed on thanks. Donald Trump skipped the event, but later said he met Dmitriev and not the Ukrainians.
