The four-time world champion has managed just four podium finishes across the opening 11 rounds of the year. His Red Bull team started the campaign over a second behind Mercedes, though they recently reduced that deficit to a few tenths. Neither the driver nor his team have gone an entire year without taking a grand prix victory since 2015.
