Mars's southern hemisphere interior is up to 400°C hotter than its north

Mars's interior heat is not evenly spread, with its southern hemisphere up to 400°C warmer than the northern. Scientists used archived data from NASA spacecraft and planetary tilt knowledge to create a gravitational model. The south's thicker landscape may have insulated this heat from cooling billions of years ago.
