Mars has a volcano too big to see

Olympus Mons on Mars is the solar system's tallest volcano, but you'd barely notice it if you stood on its slopes. That's because it's about 600 kilometres wide, with extremely gentle slopes that curve away over the planet's horizon. It grew so large because Mars's crust doesn't move like Earth's, allowing lava to build up in one spot for ages.
