Manchester's 32,000 students get a guaranteed career launchpad
Graduates could find jobs more easily after a major university promised workplace experience for every undergraduate. University of Manchester said on Tuesday it would become the first large Russell Group institution to offer placements across all degree subjects, including internships, exchanges and joint projects. Vice-chancellor Duncan Ivison announced the scheme, which is expected to cover approximately 32,000 undergraduates.
