Ruben Amorim's 14-month spell as Manchester United's head coach concluded with his dismissal. The club currently occupies sixth position in the Premier League. During his tenure, United secured victory in just 24 of 63 games. Amorim's confrontational remarks after Sunday's 1-1 draw against Leeds reportedly played a role. Darren Fletcher will assume the role of interim manager, starting with Wednesday's game versus Burnley. Amorim's win rate was the lowest since Sir Alex Ferguson's departure.
