Man Jailed Four Years for Killing 81-Year-Old

An 81-year-old trumpet player's life was cut short after a speeding driver hit him in Bebington, causing catastrophic injuries. David Brown, 25, fatally struck James Atkinson on March 4, 2024, driving at up to 42mph in his BMW in a 30mph area. Brown's mum then made him return to the crash site, and she later spoke against him in court.
