Man jailed for strangling woman at West End show

Malcolm Potier, 75, was sentenced to two years in prison on Thursday for attacking Kirsty O'Donnell during a performance of We Will Rock You in June 2023. Potier strangled O'Donnell after she and a friend started singing along, following an argument with his partner. Judge Dafna Spiro described his behaviour as "extreme and horrific".
