A Halifax man spent 18 months in jail after police mistook his online username for a different one, with the error coming down to a single underscore. Brandon Klayme was arrested in February 2020 and convicted of child luring and child pornography possession in April 2023. Nova Scotia's top court has now acquitted him on all charges, stating he was factually innocent.
