A man in his 60s, who witnesses say was in a wheelchair, was seriously hurt after being stabbed in the Wirral. Police and ambulance crews attended Hoole Road on Thursday afternoon, where he received treatment for stab wounds affecting his shoulder and ribs. A 40-year-old man was arrested hours later on suspicion of wounding.
