Man freed in Ann Widdecombe murder inquiry; police still searching
Questions over the case remain as detectives continue trying to find who was responsible and examine all available evidence. Police said a 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering Ann Widdecombe has been released from custody and is no longer being investigated, after officers attended her home at 11.40am on Thursday. A cordon still surrounds the property.
