Major parties boycott Farage's Clacton by-election 'stunt'

Nigel Farage resigned as the MP for Clacton, triggering a by-election he will stand in, while his finances are scrutinised. Labour, the Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, Greens, and Restore Britain have each declared their intention not to nominate candidates. They are calling it a "circus" or "fake by-election" and want the parliamentary investigation into Farage's finances to conclude first.
