Louvre jewel thieves say mastermind was annoyed they didn't take more
Two men accused of stealing €88 million in crown jewels from the Louvre last October claim the person who hired them was disappointed by the haul. French newspaper Le Monde says they told investigators they were paid €15,000 to €25,000 to break into the Apollo gallery. The thieves reportedly dropped a crown worn by Empress Eugénie during their escape, damaging it badly.
