The main FTSE 100 index finished 0.55% higher on Monday, helped by crude prices jumping 3% after attacks on facilities in Saudi Arabia. Energy producers Shell and BP both climbed around 1.1%, while pharmaceutical giant GSK jumped 3.7% following positive trial results for two lung cancer medicines.
