London Transport Museum gets £26m makeover for anniversary
The London Transport Museum in Covent Garden is getting a £26 million refurbishment, adding more gallery space and improving accessibility. The project will create an extra 500 square metres of public space and a new entrance, aiming to welcome about 90,000 more visitors each year. Work is expected to finish by its 50th anniversary in 2030, and the museum will stay open throughout.
