London Overground's Suffragette line to close weekends for bridge replacements

London Overground's Suffragette line to close weekends for bridge replacements

The Suffragette line will face major disruption for about a year as Network Rail replaces four old railway bridges in east London. Work on the 130-year-old bridges connecting Leytonstone High Road and Woodgrange Park is scheduled to commence on 1 September. The project should be finished in late summer 2027 and aims to serve the community for generations.
