London car club vehicles down 89% after Zipcar exit
London's car club vehicle numbers have dropped by a "catastrophic" 89% since Zipcar, a US company, stopped its service in late 2025. This leaves only 330 vehicles available, pushing former users to consider buying or leasing their own cars. The charity Collaborative Mobility (CoMoUK) says the lack of consistent rules across London's boroughs is holding back expansion.
