Lisa Nandy says Starmer will stay PM
Political stability could continue through summer despite growing talk of a leadership challenge within Labour ranks. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said she had spoken with Keir Starmer, who told cabinet members a formal process exists for any challenge. She dismissed claims involving Wes Streeting and Andy Burnham as unfounded speculation, and generally dismissed broader leadership speculation as 'froth and nonsense'.
