Lib Dems urge Andy Burnham to save drivers 12p per litre on petrol

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has called on Andy Burnham to reduce fuel duty by 10p, which would save motorists about 12p per litre. The party's proposals also include limiting bus fares to £1 and a 10% reduction in rail tickets. These measures, estimated to cost about £2 billion annually, would last until at least Christmas.
