Leeds Bradford Airport opens new security lanes to halve wait times

Leeds Bradford Airport has introduced a new Central Search Zone with extra-long lanes to process nearly twice as many passengers per hour. The upgrade allows passengers to leave electronics and liquids under 100ml inside their bags when going through security. The airport's CEO, Vincent Hodder, called it a "landmark moment" that doubles security screening capacity.
