Bailiffs working for Jaguar Land Rover seized digital records in August from Chinese carmaker BYD's Dutch offices in Schiedam and Hoofddorp, ahead of a court fight over whether BYD's Ti7 SUV copies the Land Rover Defender. A court in The Hague is due to rule this week. The boxy plug-in hybrid goes on sale in January at £47,995, over £20,000 cheaper than a comparable Defender.
