Barcelona has named its new five-man leadership group for the 2026-27 season, with teenage star Lamine Yamal, 19, stepping into a formal captaincy role. Manager Hansi Flick chose Raphinha and Pedri as the first and second captains, while the squad voted for Eric Garcia, Frenkie de Jong, and Yamal. His promotion is based on his significant influence on the pitch, rather than traditional seniority.
