Labour MPs weigh challenge to Andy Burnham
At least two senior Labour MPs are considering leadership bids to prevent Andy Burnham becoming Prime Minister without a formal contest. Nominations for the new leader open on 9 July and close on 16 July, with candidates needing support from 81 Labour MPs.
