Labour accuses Reform UK spokesman of racism over post about Somali-born candidate
Zia Yusuf, the party's home affairs spokesman, questioned Sagal Abdi-Wali running for parliament after noting she was born in Somalia. She came to Britain as a young refugee 35 years ago and currently leads Camden council, making her the likely choice to replace Keir Starmer. Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds condemned the message on Sunday, while senior Reform politicians including Nadine Dorries also criticised it.
