Northern Ireland Secretary praises stronger UK-Ireland relationship

The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland addressed the 2026 British-Irish Association Conference in Oxford on 4 September. He highlighted that the relationship between the two countries has become stronger than ever in recent years and continues to mature. The Secretary of State also paid tribute to his predecessor, Hilary Benn, for re-establishing the relationship.
