Nick Kyrgios defeated world number one Aryna Sabalenka 6-3, 6-3 in Dubai's Battle of the Sexes exhibition match. The modified rules included a nine percent smaller court for Sabalenka and single serves only. While Kyrgios dominated the 75-minute contest, critics denounced the event as a 'circus' spectacle lacking the social significance of Billie Jean King's historic 1973 victory over Bobby Riggs.
