More workers could lose their jobs as demand stays weak and firms face tougher trading conditions. KPMG said it plans to reduce around 600 UK roles, with about 440 assistant manager posts in audit and roughly 120 positions in its advisory business affected. Audit fees rose 5%, while advisory fees fell 3%.
