King Charles is losing the senior aide who planned his Coronation
Principal private secretary Sir Clive Alderton has spent two decades with the royal household and organised the 2023 Coronation. He helped manage the King's schedule following his cancer diagnosis, alongside tricky family fallouts involving Prince Harry and Prince Andrew. The senior advisor will leave close to his 60th birthday in summer 2027, as the palace begins searching for a replacement.
