Energy bills rising again in October, energy firms want more help

Britain's energy firms say struggling households need extra government help with their bills this winter. The industry body, Energy UK, called for a new “social discount” scheme to support the most vulnerable. The energy price cap is expected to rise 4% from October, adding to a 13% increase in July.
