Khamenei warns of regional war as Trump deploys USS Abraham Lincoln

Tensions have heightened following a US bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities last year and a harsh crackdown by Tehran on widespread domestic protests. While Trump hopes for negotiations, Khamenei dismissed intimidation tactics near the Strait of Hormuz, a 33km-wide channel carrying 20 percent of the world's oil.
