Just three police are covering 10,000 England fans

England fans travelling to the World Cup in the US will have significantly fewer police 'spotters' for support. UK police are deploying just three officers to accompany over 10,000 supporters, after American authorities declined to provide funding. This small team is 37 fewer than the 40 officers sent to the Euros in Germany two years ago.
